Frequently Asked Questions
-
When do we meet?
Mondays at 5:00-6:00pm ET for 4 consecutive weeks.
What are the dates for each session?
January 26, February 2, February 9, and February 16, 2026
How long is each session?
60 minutes (5:00-6:00pm ET). We'll start on time and end on time so you can get back to your day.
What if I miss a session?
No problem. Every session is recorded and available to all participants. You'll get access to the recording within 24 hours. Just make sure you set aside focused time to watch and practice along—it works just as well as attending live.
What happens if I miss multiple sessions?
That's completely fine. Life happens. You'll still have access to all the recordings and materials. The practices work whether you attend live or catch the replays—what matters is that you engage with the content.
What platform do we use?
Zoom. You'll receive the link when you register.
Do I need to turn my camera on?
That's up to you. Some people like the accountability of being visible, others prefer to participate with their camera off. Both are fine.
-
Do I need to do anything between sessions, or just show up once a week?
Both. You'll get the most out of this if you practice between sessions. When you join, we'll help you set a realistic practice goal based on where you're starting:
If you're brand new: maybe 2 times per week for 5-10 minutes
If you already practice occasionally: 3-4 times per week
If you practice regularly but not daily: work toward daily practice
You set the goal that works for your life. I'll provide audio recordings of every meditation we practice together so you can use them on your own.
How much time will the ongoing practices take?
10-15 minutes. These are short, doable practices designed for busy people.
Will I have to talk or share in front of the group?
Only if you want to. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion, but you're welcome to listen, practice, and journal. No one will put you on the spot.
Do I need any special equipment?
Nope. Just:
A device with internet access (computer, tablet, or phone)
Headphones or earbuds (optional but helpful for focus)
A space where you can be relatively uninterrupted for 60 minutes
Enough privacy that you and classmates can share without being easily overheard by others in your environment
You don't need a meditation cushion, a quiet room, or any special setup. We'll work with whatever you have.
What if I can't find a completely quiet space?
That's real life. We'll teach you how to practice even with background noise, interruptions, or less-than-ideal conditions. Meditation isn't about perfect circumstances—it's about working with what you've got. For those in an environment with noise, we just ask that the microphone be on mute during the sessions, except for if/when you are speaking. That way the audio is supportive for all participants.

I've never meditated before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. This class is designed for beginners and those looking for a refresh on the basics. You'll learn simple practices in a way that makes sense and actually sticks.
I've tried meditation before and couldn't do it / hated it. Will this be different?
Probably yes. Most people struggle with meditation because:
They tried to force their mind to go blank (not how it works)
They used an app that didn't give them enough guidance
They thought they were "doing it wrong" when their mind wandered
They were in a class that wasn’t the best fit for them at that time, or promoted a particular belief system that didn’t fit their needs
I'll teach you what meditation actually is (and isn't), give you real-time guidance, and answer your specific questions. That makes a huge difference.
I'm really skeptical about meditation. Will I feel weird?
You might feel skeptical going in, but most participants find it very comfortable. This class is designed for those who are completely new to meditation, or want to refresh themselves with simple, basic practices. This class is not based on any particular ideology. There’s no spiritual language you have to adopt, and no pressure to believe anything in particular.
This is practical mindfulness—tools that help you handle stress, think more clearly, and stop running on fumes. I practiced meditation while running teams responsible for over $287 million in revenue. It's grounded in real life, and ready for practical application.
I'm extremely busy. Will I actually be able to keep up?
Yes, because this program is designed for busy people. The practices are short (10-15 minutes), and you set your own practice goal. I’ll also show you on-the-spot versions of the practices you can incorporate into your day, even in meetings or conversations.
The irony is that the busier and more overwhelmed you are, the more you need these tools. Meditation doesn't add to your to-do list—it helps you handle everything already on it.
I'm not spiritual. Is this going to be uncomfortable for me?
Not at all. While I teach from a place of deep spiritual practice, I meet people where they are. This class is oriented for a broad audience and taught from a secular perspective. So, if you’re wanting tools to manage stress and improve focus—that's exactly what you'll get.
I have a faith tradition (Christian, Jewish, etc.). Will this conflict with my beliefs?
No. Mindfulness practices are compatible with any faith tradition. Many of my clients integrate meditation into their existing spiritual life. I honor whatever language and tradition resonates with you.

Can I ask questions outside of the live sessions?

What materials will I receive?
Audio recordings of every meditation we practice together

Handouts and practice guides
Direct access to me via DM
Everything you need to build and sustain your practice.

Who are you and why should I trust you to teach this?
I'm Erica, and I've been teaching meditation since 2018 after practicing for 20 years. I'm a certified meditation instructor through the Gaja Collective (formerly Chopra Center).
But more importantly: I practiced meditation while building my career in global tech firms, ultimately leading teams responsible for over $287 million in annual revenue. I know what it's like to be ambitious, overwhelmed, and skeptical. I teach meditation that works in real life, not just on a cushion.
What and where have you taught before?
Yes. I've been running group meditation programs since 2018, both in-person and online. I’ve taught in corporate, secular, wellness, and spiritual community settings. You can see testimonials from past students below and throughout my website at www.letsenliven.com.
What people say:
“Erica welcomed practices like meditation that I’d been curious about but never fully explored. It felt like permission to integrate parts of myself I’d kept separate. She honors the ambitious, achievement-oriented part of you while also bringing in slower, more grounded practices.” – Ivena S.
"I’m surprised that I was able to meditate like that. I feel as refreshed as if I had taken an hour nap, even though I know that was just 10 minutes. This sill help me stay focused during the rest of the day.” – Susan J.
“In my 18 years in this business, I haven’t seen anyone work with clients quite like Erica does. The way she welcomes people is genuinely open and complete – no pretense, no holding back.” – Mike R.
“I worked with Erica for two years, and several things truly stood out. First, she listens – I mean, really listens. She hears not only what is said but also what remains unsaid. As a result, she understands situations and opportunities with remarkable insight.” – Deva R.
“Erica is exactly the kind of leader you want on your side during a crisis. She maintains a level head and a steady hand when it matters most.” – Kevin G.
