My professional journey led me to global tech firms, ultimately leading teams responsible for more than $287 million in annual revenue. I thrived on worldwide travel and achieving big goals—but it became increasingly difficult to juggle a high-powered role with a chronic illness.
Through the nudging of a physician, I discovered meditation, which fundamentally changed my approach to work and life. I found that I was able to achieve deep focus with very little effort. My responsibilities continued to expand, and my team’s successes were routinely acknowledged by the companies I worked for. We were frequently asked to help launch the most ambitious projects.
It turned out that meditation wasn’t a retreat from ambition; it became a tool for sharper thinking, deeper presence, and better results.
